So it is well known Queen Elizabeth (The Golden Age) was the daughter of Henry VIII and Anne Boleyn. However, history records show Elizabeth never publicly mentioned her mother. Given this is reasonable since Elizabeth was smart when it came to politics and knew very well her mother was not much liked by many people and important figures in England. It is also reasonable to conclude that she couldn't know very much about her mother since Anne was beheaded at such a young age in Elizabeth's life. However, today while researching I came across an interesting fact in different places (one source, very legit and accurate with their historical information). This was that in secret, Elizabeth often wore a locket around her necklace containing a picture of her on one side and of her mother, Anne Boleyn, on the other. So I would like to know your thoughts on this? Also, your thoughts on how you think Elizabeth thought of her mother, if she thought of her.
